My husband stood in front of the closet, now overflowing with clothes and linens. As a neat, organized type of person, he was obviously exasperated that he couldn’t find what he was looking for because I had wedged and shoved too many items on the shelves and hangers.

“When we moved to this house, we couldn’t fill the cupboards and closets. How did we accumulate so much stuff?” he queried.

It’s true. We’d only been married a few years and we were busting at the seams with “stuff.”
